Salmon (or ham) cream cheese appetizer

About the Recipe

A quick but delicious appetizer to bring to your next party

Ingredients

  • 1 Can of Wild caught salmon

  • 8oz cream cheese

  • 1 Tbs lemon juice

  • 2Tsp grated onion

  • 1 Tsp horseradish

  • 1/4 tsp hickory smoked sea salt

  • Pecans, ground, walnuts, chopped, parsley, olives or your choice of coating

Preparation

Mix all ingredients and refrigerate until thick enough to handle (I let rest overnight)

Shape into 2 balls or one large ball.

Roll in pecans (ground) or walnuts (chopped) and parsley and olives (optional)


Our favorite is ground pecans and parsley. Add drops of tabasco if desired.


Serve with a variety of almond or rice crackers for a gluten free option or your choice of bread or whole wheat cracker.
